Steal An Egg Income Calculator
265 pets · formula and base values from the wiki, synced Oct 25, 2026
A Steal An Egg value calculator and weight (kg) calculator in one: work out what any pet earns per second from its weight and mutation, or check a pet's base value. The calculator uses the wiki's income formula and the base values of 265 pets. Below it: how the formula works, what a bigger pet earns, every mutation multiplier, worked examples, and answers to the usual questions about size, Golden and Rainbow.
How Steal An Egg income is calculated
Every pet has a base income and a hidden base weight. A heavier pet earns more, but not in a straight line:
- Up to 125× its base weight: base income × (weight ÷ base weight)37/60 × mutation.
- From 125× upward it slows down: base income × (weight ÷ base weight)2/5 × 12513/60 × mutation.
Both parts meet at 125×, so the curve has no jump. Example: a Kitsune at 10× its base weight (2,600 kg) earns $7.45B/s, 4.14× its base. Formula from the wiki's Mutations page.
What a bigger pet earns
Multiply a pet's base income by these numbers for its size. This is the same for every pet.
| Weight vs base | Income multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1× (base size) | ×1.00 |
| 2× | ×1.53 |
| 5× | ×2.70 |
| 10× | ×4.14 |
| 25× | ×7.28 |
| 50× | ×11.2 |
| 125× (slow-down starts) | ×19.6 |
| 250× | ×25.9 |
| 500× | ×34.2 |
| 1000× | ×45.1 |
Size or mutation: which is worth more?
Doubling a pet's weight raises its income 1.53×, not 2×, because the exponent is below 1. To double the income you need 3.1× the base weight. A pet 4.4× its base weight earns as much as a Golden one at base size (×2.5), and 7.6× matches a Rainbow (×3.5). At 125× base weight the size multiplier reaches 20×, more than any mutation on the wiki; past that point the curve flattens, so 45× at 1,000× is only 2.3× more than at 125×. Mutations and size multiply each other, so a big Rainbow pet gets both.
Worked examples
Four pets at base size, 10× and 100× their base weight, plus a Rainbow at 10×. The same arithmetic applies to any pet in the dropdown.
| Pet | Base weight | Base income | At 10× | At 100× | Rainbow at 10× |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken | 8 kg | $1/s | $4.14/s | $17.1/s | $14.5/s |
| Giant Sloth | 12,000 kg | $4M/s | $16.5M/s | $68.5M/s | $57.9M/s |
| Kitsune | 260 kg | $1.8B/s | $7.45B/s | $30.8B/s | $26.1B/s |
| Skeletal Sabertooth | 60,000 kg | $9B/s | $37.2B/s | $154B/s | $130B/s |
The multipliers are identical for every row (4.1× at 10×, 17× at 100×), which is why a pet's base income decides almost everything: a Chicken at 100× still earns less than a Skeletal Sabertooth at base size.
Mutation multipliers
| Mutation | Multiplier | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | ×1 | No color mutation. |
| Silver | ×1.2 | Normal hatch roll (6 in 100). |
| Bloom | ×1.25 | Sakura event. Not currently active. |
| Golden | ×2.5 | Normal hatch roll (4 in 100). |
| Spirit Bloom | ×2.5 | Sakura Incubator. Not currently active. |
| Fractured | ×2.75 | Mutation Consumable, 10% chance. |
| Scrambled | ×2.75 | Dr. Scramble's Shop, 10% chance. |
| Parasite | ×3 | Parasite Egg from the feeding event. |
| Rainbow | ×3.5 | Normal hatch roll (1 in 100). |
Pets can carry more than one mutation, and newer ones (Nitro, Enchanted, Spectral, Zombified) aren't on the wiki yet, so their multipliers and how they stack are unknown. Pick the main mutation. More on the mutations page.
Pets without a listed weight
74 pets with a base income have no base weight on the wiki yet, so the calculator applies only the mutation to them and ignores the Weight box: Spirit World Guardian, Voidseer Pumpkin, Zombified Bone Emperor, Cursed Monarch, Pumpkin King, Royal Skywhale, Bone Emperor, Zombified Phantom Dragon and 66 more. Most of them are from Enchanted Forest, Halloween Dimension, Skeletal Egg. When the wiki adds a weight, the size curve applies automatically at the next sync.
Income calculator FAQ
What is base income in Steal An Egg?
The cash per second a pet earns at its base size with no mutation, as the wiki lists it. It is the number in the pet index and the starting point of this calculator: income = base income × size multiplier × mutation multiplier. Spirit World Guardian has the highest base income at $15B/s; Chicken the lowest among pets with a weight, $1/s.
How do I find my pet's weight?
The game shows each pet's weight in kilograms, and the wiki records the base weight each pet starts from (Kitsune: 260 kg). Type your pet's current weight into the Weight box; the calculator divides it by the base weight to get the size multiplier. Leave it empty to see the base value.
Does a mutation stack with size?
Yes. The two multiply: income = base × size multiplier × mutation multiplier. A Kitsune at 10× its base weight with a Rainbow mutation earns $26.1B/s, which is 4.1× for size times ×3.5 for Rainbow.
Do two mutations stack with each other?
The wiki does not say. Players have recorded pets with more than one mutation, but the Mutations page lists one multiplier per mutation and no stacking rule, so the calculator takes one mutation at a time. Newer mutations (Nitro, Enchanted, Spectral, Zombified) are not on the wiki yet either; see the mutations page.
Which matters more, size or mutation?
Size, once a pet is big. A pet 4.4× its base weight already matches a Golden (×2.5), and 7.6× matches a Rainbow (×3.5). At 125× base weight the size multiplier is 20×, more than any mutation on the wiki. After 125× the curve flattens, so the biggest gains come from growing a pet up to that point.
Why is my number different from the game?
Four usual reasons: the wiki's base income or base weight for that pet is out of date (we sync after every Saturday update, last on Oct 25, 2026); the pet carries a mutation the wiki has no multiplier for; the pet has two mutations; or rounding, since the game shows abbreviated numbers. If a base value is wrong, fixing it on the wiki reaches this page at the next sync.
What is the most valuable pet in Steal An Egg?
By base income, Spirit World Guardian at $15B/s. A Rainbow one earns $52.5B/s, and the wiki has no base weight for it yet, so size cannot be applied. The full ranking of 265 pets is on the index.
Can I work out what an egg is worth before hatching it?
Not for one egg, because the pet inside is random. What you can do is the average: each zone page weights every pet's base income by its spawn chance and shows what a typical egg from that zone is worth, and each pet page shows how many eggs you need for a 50% or 90% chance at that pet.
